escape to Punta del Este

Punta del Este, Uruguay is the summer resort destination for high rollin' Argentines. Recently it has been infiltrated by other adventurous Latin Americans, Europeans, and Americans. A fancy car helps to fit in.

The beaches and nightclubs are packed for the first two weeks of January. Those looking for a more relaxing beach getaway should come in December or from mid-January til the end of February.

Off season options include surfing, off roading, parapente, and bundled up walks along the beach.
